(audio) Hitori Tori live on the Internet 2020/2021

Hitori Tori gave us two live performances on the internet, one at the end of 2020, one at the end of 2021.

0:00-1:07:30 is from December 2020, called Suck Puck Breakcorona Xmas Stream, obviously for our good friends at Suck Puck Records.

The last 30 minutes is from December 2021, originally called Live for PRSPCT Records, in collaboration with Murder Channel. I suppose I didn't really have to tack on this one on to the other, but I figured why not.

There's at least one, maybe two songs that are repeated between the two shows. I hope that won't offend you too much.

Both of these are still available on YT last I checked, if you want to see him thrash these songs out live.

[audio] Ruby My Dear live on the internet, 1 June 2021

Ruby My Dear live on rinse.fr, 1 June 2021.

Everything's on the internet these days. I am confident that concerts will happen again someday. Maybe not this year. Hopefully next year. Fingers crossed. Until then, I'll just keep scouring the internet for live performances to fix up and post.

This one went pretty much under the radar when it happened, so I post it here.

I bumped up the super extended sub-bass low end a touch. Fire up the subwoofers and see how you like it.

[audio] Raxyor live in Prague, 19 June 2010

Raxyor live at Parukarka Bunkr, Prague, 19 June 2010.

I originally posted this Raxyor recording many years ago. But I was recently listening to it at home or maybe in my car, and heard that the files had been corrupted. I thought it was good opportunity to just start from the beginning and do a full re-work, remix and remaster of the recording.

I'm so much better at it now and have so many more tools at my disposal, that anything I re-do from the old days will sound a whole lot better than my first attempt.

This one gets off to a little bit of a rough start, with some glitchy clicky noises in the first several minutes. But once the music really gets started, they go away or are otherwise unnoticeable.

[audio] Cdatakill live in Denver, 15 October 2007

CDatakill live on Frequencee Mind Controlle, Denver, 15 October 2007.

CDatakill live on the radio, which I fixed up to sound like a live concert.

This was from his relatively early days, when he leaned much more toward breakcore than his later recordings. Not sure of the names of any of the songs, but I do recognize some of them, so those will have been released on albums or compilations. But there are at least a couple that are unreleased outside of this recording.

OG Darkmatter punk kids Baseck vs Diskore live at Blue Moon Nights, North Hollywood, Los Angeles, 16 March 2012.

In this recording, I'm not sure who plays which songs. If I remember correctly, Baseck was playing live, not djing as he sometimes would, whereas Diskore was most likely djing.

There was a power outage from 14:00-18:00. I could have edited that out, but I left it in, just because.

Elevate Festival in Graz is one of the premiere music and social awareness festivals in all of Europe.

Graz is a smallish town in the southeast of Austria, and Graz is generally known for two things- it's a college town, and that Arnold Schwarzenegger grew up in a suburb of Graz. Now that Elevate Festival has been a yearly occurrence since the mid 2000s, Graz is now known for three things. Well, also that complete eyesore of an art gallery building, so four things.

Elevate is a week-long festival, with all sorts of political and social panel discussions, demonstrations of the latest high-tech innovations, and a bunch of music.

The four music stages of Elevate sit at the top of a mountain in the center of town. Outdoors, there's a main stage and a secondary stage, and two more stages sit inside the mountain. Seriously, they are caves, and the mainstage is gigantic with a massive sound system, and the second stage is where all the crazy music happens.

The first night in the small cave features experimental and avant-garde musics of all styles and instrumentations. The second night features hard, aggressive electronic music. Industrial / breakcore legend Eiterherd has been involved with the festival since the beginning, and has organized all the bands for this venue.

So if you find yourself in that part of the world in October, look it up. Because Graz is such a small town and Elevate is such a high profile event, finding a hotel room can be a challenge. But if you can work it out, you won't regret going.

[audio] Hecate and Nihil Fist live in Berlin, 27 Nov 2009

For my friends in Berlin. Tenth anniversary of this show, first time posting this.

Hecate and Nihil Fist, live at Cosmic Devastation at Raum 18, Berlin, 27 November 2009.

Even by Hecate's standards, this one was a rather experimental show for her I think.

It was Hecate on electronics and vocals (sounding a whole lot like Nivek Ogre on the Ain't It Dead Yet? recording), and also somebody playing electric contrabass through some effects like distortion, delay, etc..., and there might have been a third person on stage with her. I forget. It was a long time ago.

So this one leans more toward ambient noise doom drone, but it does get a bit rhythm-y in the second half. More industrial than breakcore.

Nihil Fist opened the show and just about blew the doors off the place. Hell ya.

Also playing this night was Christoph da Babalon. I did get a recording of his set as well, but his laptop was having that RAM overrun audio hiccup thing happening every 30 or 40 seconds during his entire performance. So unfortunately, that one I won't be able to post.

[audio] my remix of an Enduser track

This is the remix I did for the latest Enduser remix challenge thing for his Between track, but I didn't officially submit it because I totally didn't follow the rules.

He did a remix challenge a couple years ago for Wrong Turn. I never got around to doing that remix, but I still had the stems. So when this new remix challenge popped up, I thought it would be a good opportunity to combine elements of both songs into one massive beast.

All the work was done in Presonus Studio One, with effects by Izotope, Acon Digital, and FabFilter.

[video] Venetian Snares live in Linz, Austria, 2009

Edit: I received this message from the original recorder, and out of respect for him and Aaron, I have deleted the video.-

"I am the Original Recorder (having the Original Mini-DV Tape) and I told Aaron Back then, that I would Not Upload it to YouTube. To Respect this, Please delete it from YouTube."

Original post-

I just posted this live VSnares video from 2009. Not my recording, but I've had it sitting in a hard drive for years. Saw that it wasn't on the internet anywhere. The video quality is not that good, but I fixed it up somewhat. The audio was halfway decent for just a consumer camcorder, and I fixed that up a bit, too, and it's not that difficult to listen to.

The Monsters of Mashup tour plowed through Denver in mid-February. Here's a nice chunk of Bong-Ra's performance as well as Enduser's.

Many thanks to everybody at The Black Box and Grave Ravers for all the assistance this night.
